Something I never considered when donating to the schools was that these donations make a significant impact on teacher retention in the schools as well as student attendance. Teachers live at the schools and something as simple as light makes a big impact.

I hereby write this letter confirming and testifying that Mr Clive Klugman donated. 11kv Solar System, Chessboards, Laptops, Atlas, Guitar, Assortment of Games. And Boys Dormitory to Mathula Secondary school
The donation of Boys Dormitory will alleviate shortage of accommodation for learners who come from Remote Areas and reduce dropout rate in the school.
The provisionof Laptops will facilitate Teaching and learning especially E-learning and advancement of ICT. The Laptops will facilitate research when carrying out assignments. The Laptops will aid typing of Examinations. The donation of 11kv Solar System will go a long way in providing lights for Teachers which will reduce staff mobility. The Solar System will provide power to the Photocopier which is used to photocopy eximation Question Papers. lt will provide power to Laptops.
The Learners can enjoy computer games and learn computers as a subject. The donation of assortment of games and Chessboards will be very Vital for Sports. In a nutshell, the donation Will facilitate teaching and learning in the school. The donation will will directly benefit 310 Learners and 13 Teachers of Mathula in particular and feeder schools like Makhaza Primary school, Dogwe Pry, Madabu Pry and Nata Primary school.

- Students do ICT as a learning subject. They have been doing theory only, now they do practical using donated laptops.
- Students now have basic knowledge and skills on how to use computers.- Laptops are aiding students to familiarize with modern ICT tools.
- Students enjoy playing games like solitaire on laptops there by improving their learning interest in all subjects
- Students now have access to reading material which they could not have on hard copies.
- The solar system donated provides power for charging laptops and printing examinations.
- Solar power provides light during any students camping activities.
- Games like Chess open up their minds and encourages critical thinking
- Other games have improved their interactive skills thereby reducing cases of indiscipline and absenteeism.
BENEFITS FOR TEACHERS
-Teaching ICT is now easy as teachers can deliver practical lessons using laptops.
- The teaching of other subjects that need the use of electronic gadgets has been made easier.
- They can type and print examinations and any other paper work needed for teaching and learning process
- Teachers can now play and teach chess.
- Teachers can now charge their gadgets improving communication with stakeholders and family members.

Teaching and learning environment was greatly improved by renovation of a classroom block of 3 classrooms and a storeroom. The school will benefit more if it gets an upgrade on solar power, internet connection, more laptops, improved furniture, textbooks, classrooms and teachers’ cottages.
